Grand Canyon - Tanner Trail

The Tanner Trail ends at a very wide beach along the Colorado River.  The rim of the canyon is so far away that it doesn't even look like you are deep in the canyon at this point.

Grand Canyon: Inner Gorge

The final plunge to the Colorado River below is called the inner gorge and consists of Vishnu Schist and Zoroaster Granite.
